I don't know of any that maintain parity across as many platforms as Evernote (Web, iOS, Android, Windows, Mac, Blackberry, Palm, Windows mobile, etc.).

I am not familiar with The Brain, but I only know of a few apps that attempt to maintain parity across more than just a couple of devices (Kindle and Dropbox come to mind). Not to mentionned the very large right margin that I can not suppress etc. for example, if I try adding a new line here people not familiar with html can just ignore itīut it is a real problem that captured notes can not be edited. I don't suppose evernote users are more stupid than other. Not to put a wet towel on the idea, but if we are aiming for feature parity, I wonder if it is worth putting the money and resources into developing this in about a dozen platforms so that a small handful of people familiar with ENML can directly edit from within the app. There are currently third-party applications for those who really want to do this.

Nview html editor code#
However, I can see this getting messy when people bungle the editing, and with all of the extraneous (to my eyes) code that Evernote puts into notes, it would be easy for things to go wrong. Good suggestion, and it is one I have thought about myself. If there is antoher way to fix this, I would be happy to here it !īut still, an html editor would also allow more edditing features (as requested here) and better compatibility when copy/pasting note content to blogs or other applications It is quiet likely that a little clean up of the captured html (matching opening and closing tag, etc) would fix this. Notes created from webcapture are almsot impossible to edit, or else, you get weird behaviour like overlapping text or huge spaces between paragraphs (as also discribed here) RPC('SpawnBox', RPCMode.AllBuffered, viewID, transform.position) def SpawnBox(viewID as NetworkViewID, location as Vector3): clone as Transform clone = ((Instantiate(cubePrefab, location, Quaternion.identity) as Transform) as Transform) nView as NetworkView nView = clone.GetComponent() nView. It would be very usefull to be able to toggle the note editor's view from normal display to html. Import UnityEngine import System.Collections class example( MonoBehaviour): public cubePrefab as Transform def OnGUI(): if GUILayout.Button('SpawnBox'): viewID as NetworkViewID = Network.AllocateViewID() networkView. Var cubePrefab : Transform function OnGUI () Valid RPC parameters are int, float, string, NetworkPlayer, NetworkViewID, Vector3 and Quaternion. For more information see the RPC section of the manual. You don't need to change the way you call the RPCįunction when you do this. Which will automatically contain the information. To get information on the RPC itelf, you can add a NetworkMessageInfo parameter to the function declaration The communication group set for the network view, with oup, is used for the RPC call. RPC calls are always guaranteed to be executed in the same order as they are sent. Have the same name only one of them is called when RPC is invoked. RPC function names should be unique accross the scene, if two RPC functions in different scripts If it is just for the RPC function, state synchronization should be turned off and the observed property can be set to none. It doesn't matter if the NetworkView is being used for something else or just for the RPC function. The called function must have the tag set ( for C Sharp code).Ī NetworkView must be attached to the GameObject where the RPC function is being called. Function RPC (name : String, mode : RPCMode, params args : object) : void DescriptionĬall a RPC function on all connected peers.
